Volunteer coaches provide vital support to our Head Coaches/ Development Officers and are actively involved in the organisation of practice sessions and club matches. The Highland Perthshire Sports Trust has over the past year provided funding to enable over 30 volunteer coaches gain recognised coaching qualifications.
Effective Partnerships

We have a dual strategy of trying to build effective partnerships with clubs not only in Highland Perthshire but also in Perth and Dundee. We believe this is the key to sustained success. At a local level this allows young children to play soccer sevens, mini rugby and kwik cricket in a fun environment as well as providing a pathway for the most talented players to play competitive sport at a higher level by joining the likes of Perthshire Rugby Club or Forfarshire Cricket Club.
